"Georgette Heyer has met her match for intrigue and STYLE!"
—Anne McCaffrey
Komarr—Miles Vorkosigan is sent to Komarr, a planet that could be a garden with a thousand more years of terraforming; or an uninhabitable wasteland, if the terraforming project fails. The solar mirror vital to the project has been shattered by a ship hurtling off course, and Miles has been sent to find out if it was an accident, or sabotage. But once there, he uncovers a plot that could exile him from Barrayar forever—and discovers an unexpected ally, one with wounds as deep and honor as beleaguered as his own.
A Civil Campaign—On Komarr, Miles met the beautiful Vor widow Ekaterin Vorsoisson, who has no intention of getting married after the heartbreak and betrayal of her first experience. But Miles has a cunning plan to change her mind. Unfortunately his clone-brother Mark and his cousin Ivan have cunning plans of their own, and the three- way collision of cunning plans threatens to undo Miles's brilliant romantic strategy.
"Winterfair Gifts"—Miles and Ekaterin make elaborate preparations for their wedding. But Miles has an enemy who is plotting to turn the romantic ceremony into a festival of death.
"Bujold continues to prove what marvels genius can create out of basic space operatics."—Booklist

Product Review"Bujold" on the spine of a book just about guarantees a good read. There is only one book of hers I have not been able to finish, and the items in this compendium aren't among those. The only item not already available from earlier years' webscriptions is _Winterfair Gifts_ which is a truly _exquisite_ example of Bujold's craft in the Milesverse. The items I particularly liked in the novella, were (I don't _think_ this will spoil anything...) the rabbits, and a certain quip by Ekaterin to Gregor regarding a certain piece of jewelry. Truly, quintessentially Bujold!

Product Review[Grin]
I have been hooked on the adventures of Mad Miles ever since I read "The Weatherman" in Analog Magazine. I have bought Komarr and Civil Campaign in Hardback, paperback and E-book. So $6 for "Winterfair Gifts" is just fine. If it encourage Miz Lois to write another one, I am voting with my money!Posted on

Product ReviewIs there anything us poor customers who have already purchased Komarr and Civil Campaign can do to buy the story "Winterfair Gifts" separately?

Product ReviewMay I have some more Miles, please, mam? Said in a slightly whiney, pleading voice. I've been reading this series since the beginning, loving it all the whole time!
