The Great Revolt is On!
Europe, 1634. With the example of future Grantsville, U.S.A., a small town thrown back in time by a cosmic accident, a peasant revolt becomes a revolutionary movement. You're from the future. You want the serfs to liberate themselves-but you also know what a bloodbath the French Revolution became. Avoiding that possibility will take all American horse-trading diplomacy you can muster. The stakes: an explosion that could cover half the continent in blood!
Alternate history master Eric Flint and exciting newcomer Virginia DeMarce fire another exciting volley in Flint's engrossing "Grantsville" chronicles.
"[W]itty, tightly written alternative history."

Product ReviewI found it hard to slog through this. I'm sure that a lot of research went into it, but it just did not hold my interest. Perhaps because there was no technology involved. Perhaps because it just seemed like not much was accomplished. I read this series not to learn about the personalities of people from WV, but because of the interaction of technology and knowledge. This was pure politics.

Product ReviewNot the best book in the series. You might be disappointed if you expected something like the other books in the series. I think it would have been better broken into several shorter stories and put in the GG.

Product ReviewI tried, I really tried, but just couldn't stomach this one. I really like the rest of the series, but this one just doesn't make the grade.
