Product ReviewI have read and reread and reread these books and they get better and better every time. Both of these guys really outdid themselves with these books. Byzantium is a milieu that is seldom used because Westerners know next to nothing about the Eastern Empire, the focus in higher learning being so strongly western European. The freshness imparted by this setting, coupled with well-developed characters, rivetting plots, and fascinating premises make this collective work something generations will be able to enjoy. They will never grow stale. It's not every author can claim to've done that.
