Product ReviewTo short. There are too many subplots not closed or followed up. The young voice left with his mother, the group that escaped from Fallen Timbers. I felt they should be at least touched on, then it would not have seemed to have just ended with us the readers full of questions. Most books within a series can and should stand by them selves just adding to the series but this one seems incomplete. But very good as I stayed up until 2am reading it.

Product ReviewI think the book ended to soon and it was not really a good stopping point I have already guessed what Kinlafia and the privy voice have to tell Andrin. If you are going to leave me hanging, at least leave me hanging and wondering what is going to happen next. David and Linda could have left us with the Uromathian - Tajvana sub plot. That would have been a better cliff hanger.
I tend to disagree with the theory that only those who root for Vader would enjoy this series. "All that is needed for evil to triumph is for good to do nothing." Well the good gus got caught with their pants down but we shall see what happens. Hopefully book three wont be to long in coming.

Product ReviewI agree with the previous review that this book ended to soon. It also was predictable in that most of the story was foreshadowed heavily in the first novel. The book is dark, but as a sci/fi retelling of WWI it will be full of politics and carnage on a massive scale just like the real thing.
