Suddenly the series got fun!I began reading the Vorkosigan Saga in the mid 2000s, just before the extremely entertaining "A Civil Campaign" was released, and I began by reading "Shards of Honor" and the Hugo winning "Barrayar," both which have a serious tone and are written from Cordelia's point of view. Then suddenly this book starring the young Miles appeared, and the series became a rollicking, hilarious, and thoroughly entertaining romp through the Space Opera genre. Miles is one of the truly iconic characters in SF in the past 30 years, and I've enjoyed every book in which he's been the main character a great deal, whether they're comedic, romantic, or serious. The romp starts here, so have fun!

Product ReviewGreat book! This is a very enjoyable read, great story with good character development. But save your money and buy Young Miles, it's an anthology including Warrior's Apprentice, another book and I believe a short story or novella for the same price.
