In Les Johnson’s debut solo novel Mission to Methone, a group of aliens debates whether humanity should be allowed to travel the stars or suffer a far bleaker fate. Which got us thinking, if you were brought before an alien council to make the case for humanity, what would you tell them to convince them to let us Earthlings take to the stars?
