Alien Ragnarok!
A mysterious pyramid appears in Chicago, oozing fantastic creatures and sucking humans into our own mythological past. It's an alien invasion from within!
When a special forces team sent to capture an AWOL official gets into deep trouble with a certain one-eyed Norse god, redoubtable comparative mythologist Jerry Lukacs must rescue them, strike a deal with the droll and dangerous Loki, and risk bringing on Ragnarok itself to once again save human myth from alien domination.
The rollicking sequel to New York Times best-seller Eric Flint and David Freers's action-packed romp through everything humankind holds sacred begun in the groundbreaking Pyramid Scheme.
"[A] charmingly picaresque journey."
—Publishers Weekly on Flint and Freers's Pyramid Scheme.

Product ReviewExcellent and I thought the first book couldn`t be extended since they had already kicked all the Greek and Egyptian gods into shape. Look out Norse gods!

Product ReviewAbsobloodylutely brilliant book!
It's hard to create something better then the first but freer has done it.
not only is it thrilling and exciting but also bring to life the wonders of ancient myths and religions.
A lot of details are put into the books and its amazing when it bear fruit.
While i can see how it might be repetitive as alot of myths have the same sort of entities and incarnations, when you start mixing the figures from completely different myths things get really really interesting!
I really really hope that the final lines in this book foretells the beginning of a great "Pyramid Myth War" with plenty of books to follow.

Product ReviewA truly worthy sequel to Pyramid Scheme. It has alcoholic gods, scheming government bureaucrats, and lovesick, flatulent dragons. What more could you ask for?
