Although the "Ghost Ship" was good, and I wanted to go back there, "Necessity's Child" is excellent.
There were many moments that actually provoked deep emotion within me.

Product ReviewBack to Surebleak after the attack on Miri at the Korval party there are agents loose on planet. Syl Vor one of the Korval children is a main protagonist and has the serious side of the Korval genes. Into the mix are the mysterious Kompani.
Lee and Miller's elegant writing as usual. They have a lovely turn of phrase in their writing I love. I really like all of the Liad books.
Spoiler(not really), It took me forever to figure out / remember who his Korval parent was. I thought they had all had contract marriages and offspring. Mom is Nova. And by the way when does she get her life mate? Thought there might be something here. L&M being mean to her. Their characters are vivid real people.

Product ReviewYet another fantastic installment in the Liaden Universe. This book seems very friendly towards younger readers and I would say it would be a good book to start a budding reader on. I did not want it to end, I was watching chapters go by and dreading the point where I ran out. Buy this book, buy it twice, make the authors so much money they have no choice but to sit and write more to keep up their lavish lifestyle ;)
