When hunters from around the world gather in Las Vegas for a conference, a creature left over from a World War Two weapons experiment wakes up and goes on a rampage across the desert. A not-so-friendly wager between the rival companies turns into a race to see who can bag the mysterious creature first.
Only there is far more to this particular case than meets the eye, and as Hunters fall prey to their worst nightmares, Owen Zastava Pitt and the staff of Monster Hunter International have to stop an ancient god from turning Sin City into a literal hell on earth.

Frustratingly GoodI've got a routine. I start a book, then switch off between the book and what I'm normally doing off and on; a decent sized book will usually last me 2-3 days this way. Unfortunately, I have discovered that the Monster Hunter Series doesn't let me switch off; I have to read the flipping thing non-stop until it's done. This is NOT cost effective!
So, Larry, buddy...could you make your books a LITTLE less fantastic?Posted on

Product ReviewI liked this book but didn't love it. The reason? It didn't have as a compelling a villain as previous works in the series. It felt at times more of a set up to the next book. That would have been forgiven if the references and hints weren't so ham fisted and so poorly handled.

Product ReviewYet another great entry in the Monster Hunter stories. The only real problem is it wasn't enough. I WANT MORE RIGHT NOW!!!!!! I hope he's already started on the next one, as much as I would really love another Grimnoire book I'm really hooked on where MHI is going right now.
