Best-selling Baen Authors David Weber, Eric Flint, John Ringo, Larry Correia
Available on iBookstore for First Time

RIVERDALE, NEW YORK, February 12, 2013 — Digital book pioneer Baen Books is making its books available for purchase on Apple’s iBookstore for the first time beginning today. Science fiction and fantasy publisher Baen Books has sold its ebooks for over fifteen years at Baen’s web site, Baenebooks.com, where books have been downloadable free of digital rights restrictions; they will also be DRM-free on the iBookstore. The move to third party distribution is relatively new territory for Baen, which has built a name for itself in the ebook arena with an innovative e-Advanced Reading Copy program.

“Now that we’ve made our books available on the iBookstore, it will be easier than ever for fans to read their favorite Weber, Ringo, or Correia book on their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch,” says Toni Weisskopf, Publisher. “We see this as a promising expansion of our famous pioneering digital spirit and customer-first orientation.”

Baen is known for its New York Times bestselling science fiction and fantasy, including David Weber’s Honor Harrington series, Eric Flint’s Ring of Fire alternate histories, Larry Correia’s Monster Hunter International urban fantasies, and Lois McMaster Bujold’s Vorkosigan Saga.
