Grantville Gazette 76 has some of our best stories to date.
First, we have David Carrico's story "Requiem For the Future" which explores up-timers' reactions to the Ring of Fire.
Next, we have we head south for Phillip Riviezzo's caper "The Sicilian Job."
Sergeant Hartmann returns in Part 1 of "Honing the Blade" by Nick Lorance.
Iver P. Cooper begins a new non-fiction series on airship handling with "The Wind is the Enemy: Part 1, Airship Takeoff, Landing, Hangaring, and Ground Handling."
Kristine Kathryn Rusch point out that "We Live in the Future Now" in her Notes From the Buffer Zone column.
In the Universe Annex section, we have "The Problem With Demons" by Eric Flint, Gorg Huff, and Paula Goodlett. This is a companion story to their novel The Demons of Paris, published through Eric Flint's Ring of Fire Press.

My last issue of the GazetteI have (and have read) 76 issues of the Gazette. I will not get issue 77. The Gazette had a good run - and has run out of steam. The last few issues have had too little content. I no longer wait eagerly for the the beginning of an odd-numbered month.

Bad Formating Hits ContentAs with the previous comment, the ePub version I downloaded seems to have a format error. I was reading “Honing the Blade” and it just stopped. Then the next page jumped into the article on Airship handling. No title, no author, just straight in, almost as if if were part of “Blad”.
I have deleted it from my iBook reader several times, but each re-install shows the same problem.Posted on

Edited by 8 yr oldEPUB version I received is very poorly edited/formatted. First story in volume is titled but second story and all following do not have title and just start with a simple roman numeral I which I assume means Chapter 1. It gets worse when the untitled story on Sgt Whathisname transitions into the story on Lighter than Air Craft with only a page break. Editor was either stoned or had is kids do the work. Good stories but very confusing to read due to formatting.
