    Yes there are a multitude of typos and some editing would have been preferable but focus on the story, which is an OK space race yarn. If this was a paperback I would have read it once and then donated it, as it's not worth a re-read IMHO.

    The original publication of this was in 1985, so probably was only available in hardcopy and scanned, which introduced all of the typos. Baen should have made more effort to proofread it - I have seen better work in self-published books.

    Ok space race yarn made worst by having no editor.
    cold some 1 shut the editor. Dear god, the number of typos on this one is the worst I have seen, which throws you out of the story. As in the last quarter of book the Russians start using the American project name instead their project name.
