High tech near-future mercenaries Ripple Creek Security must protect an obnoxious world government minister from the scores of enemies who want her dead—and killed in the worst possible way.
Alex Marlow and Ripple Creek Security's best personal security detail return to action. This time, they really don't like their principal, World Bureau Minister Joy Herman Highland—a highly placed bureaucrat with aspirations to elected office. But Highland's would-be assassins are up against the best security in the business—and Ripple Creek has no qualms about seeing their own explosions on galactic news. In fact, they kind of enjoy it.

Product ReviewA sequel to the previous two Ripple Creek novels. This one makes the point of professionalism, when the team goes the distance for a less attractive principal. Character development continues for the team. An enjoyable read, even though as the first reviewer said, the themes are well known: government corrupt, libertarianism good and so on.

Product ReviewIf you've read any of this other books, you know what to expect. Decent military science fiction with a hamfisted political message. Government bad! Libertarianism good! Environmentalists bad! Sooooooocialism baaaaad! Capitalism good!
That aside, it's not as good as the previous two, mostly because the principle is less interesting.
Though, hell. At least it's not about "Civilization from the past finds a super computer and advances through technological phases rapidly". I bumped it up a star just for that.
