"We are delighted to continue our association with GenCon and its literary program track," said Baen executive editor Jim Minz. At Baen we’ve always believed that everyone has a story to tell, and feel this contest helps bring attention to the fantasy genre.” The contest will continue next year, with submissions opening January 1, 2017. All entries must be received by April 1, 2017. Each entry is limited to a short story of no more than 8,000 words, and only one entry per author is allowed.
