Product ReviewI bought this book after hearing one of the authors describe it on a podcast (and after deciding to support baenebooks.com over the "big guys"). There are only a few hints that the book was written in the 70s - something that I thought would be distracting, but really isn't.
The authors are really gifted. The book is incredibly enjoyable and every bit as thrilling as you would hope an end-of-the-world tale would be. I'll be reading the rest of the Niven/Pournelle books on the strength of this one.Posted on
