The Great Revolt is On!
Europe, 1634. With the example of future Grantsville, U.S.A., a small town thrown back in time by a cosmic accident, a peasant revolt becomes a revolutionary movement. You're from the future. You want the serfs to liberate themselves-but you also know what a bloodbath the French Revolution became. Avoiding that possibility will take all American horse-trading diplomacy you can muster. The stakes: an explosion that could cover half the continent in blood!
Alternate history master Eric Flint and exciting newcomer Virginia DeMarce fire another exciting volley in Flint's engrossing "Grantsville" chronicles.
"[W]itty, tightly written alternative history."

Product ReviewAn absolute chore to read. I now buy my Baen books online, but I got this one in hardback for a dollar. Why this was released in hardback is beyond me. Obviously a mistake since they had to be 'given' away. (Or at least they printed too many.) If you can find a detailed synopsis of the novel on wikipedia or somewhere, just read that and wait for the next 'serious' addition to the ROF series. I'm sick to death of the fan-fic fillers. Some of the short stories have been good, but the DeMarce books are extremely weak, and the Dennis novels are only about one star better.

Product ReviewIf you missed any books in the 1632 universe, this is the one to skip. Just awful! I feel like this book was writen for one just one purpose; to make money off people who enjoyed 1632/33. Awful Awful! Awful....
