Plot is actually quite good - it's just that they have not really left any space for it - one has to suffer through the inane twaddle about the characters mundane thoughts. I can listen to my own internal monologue, thank you, don't need a book for that.

Eden is not the world mentioned at the end of Return to Rocheworld. Rather it another moon of Gargantua, amazingly tropical like Tahiti of Earth. It's also one again filled with intelligent life, not discovered until after arrival. One begins to wonder that the author is trying to say that our own robotic probes won't find intelligent life, but rather it will require going forth and setting foot in person. A fun, but incomplete story. A to be continued at the end of the book will lead you rushing back to look for the sequel, and you won't find it here, at least for now, at Webscription.Net. An enjoyable story, centering on another previously glossed over character Reiki Momoku LeRoux, of the original 20 who made the trip to Bernard's Star. Thomas Chism
