Excellent and unconventionalAn offshoot of the Skolian empire. Very well written, with both nice scientific ideas, human figures and nonstop action.

start of a new series. Takes off where \the Sag of the Skolian Empire peters out . . . and, to me, is a lot mre enjoyable. The major difference is that Asaro really lets her intellect and imagination loose without giving up any of the action. There's another on the way so you should get started herre now. This book deserves to be a best seller for sure.
