Sequel to Threshold, Book Three in the best-selling Boundary series.
An exploratory mission to Mars and beyond begets a rush to gain control of advanced alien technology—even if it leads to an interplanetary war.
Stranded on Europa: Madeline Fathom miraculously crash lands the crippled Nebula Storm on Europa with the surviving crewmembers of an ill-fated EU vessel landing nearby. Help is most definitely not on the way. Escaping a trap of mysterious alien technology—then using it to her advantage—is Madeline's only chance to escape a very frosty demise on a very lonely moon.

Product ReviewI enjoyed this story in its entirety. It was a much more rational story with less contrivance in creating disasters than most. I understand the need in some to have unending action but after a while there are only so many ways you can dangle your characters over the fire, or endless deeps, in this case. The subject matter was well done and the story plausible given the background. There were more than enough disasters the characters had to contend with and very good personal development of all characters. It was believable while at the same time projecting a sense of wonder and hope that is lacking in many stories.

Product ReviewThe first books in this series were excellent, whilst this one, while generally written and finishing off the interesting story line of the second., just seemed to meander a bit. The ending just didn't seem to justify the build up. Not bad, and perhaps only a let down compared to the first two books which were great.

Product ReviewI absolutely enjoyed the first 2 books in this series! Flint & Spoor are two of my favorite authors.
This E-arc 3rd book was just ok. It wrapped up loose ends and capped off the story but it lacked the punch that the first 2 books delivered. I felt like this one was phoned in.Posted on

Product ReviewNot quite up to Eric and Ryk's usual standards, although a fairly good closing novel for the trilogy.

Product ReviewExcellent. The combination of Flint and Spoor works well, yet again.
And yes, Flint still manages to work in puns....Posted on

Product ReviewThis is what a sequel SHOULD be (are you listening, John Ringo?) Action, adventure, heaps of science and above all the sense of wonder that characterises the best SF. Helen's speech says it all.
