NANOBOT-NIGHTMARE

The galaxy depended on microscopic "nanobots"to keep the wheels of civilization turning, but sometimes nanobots went rogue, with disastrous consequences. Lance Michaels was a very valuable person, since he had grown up with a body filled with "nanobots", which he could send out of his body in invisible swarms, still under his control, and reprogram a rogue "hive" out of existence. But his latest job may be his last. Sent to defuse a hive that has taken over an entire planet, he finds that a psychotic child with control over nanobots like his own is controlling the hive, and she takes Lance over, and prepares to send nanobots out from the planet to control the entire human-occupied galaxy.

Only two people might be able to rescue Lance and stop the nanobot takeover: Lance's two children, the fraternal twins Quinn and Kate. They have not only inherited their father's mental control of nanobots, but can also download their personalities into the nanobots and swap personalities at will. But Quinn has run away, offplanet, and even if Kate can find him, they will still have to conquer a mind that may soon have no limits to its rapidly growing power....
